Christmas is over...if you want it. We had a great Christmas this (rather, last) year,
and to prove it, here are some obligitory pics of family members opening Xmas gifts on
Christmas morning. We stayed at Looby's Mum and Dads in Essex, and were joined by Grandma,
Laura and new fiancee Warren...Click on picture to enlarge.

One of the coolest presents this year was Warren's remote control helicopter... Click on picture to enlarge.

Yes, I would have quite liked one of those. But then I would have liked a remote control Dalek,
and I didn't get one of those either. sigh. Click on picture to enlarge.

Among J's faves was his Postman Pat van. Pat and Cat go in van. Pat and Cat out of van.

Here's a classic picture of J. With all the presents he received this Christmas, he still
enjoyed playing with an old teddy that had been his Mum's before him more. Click on picture to enlarge.

David and Marcia came round on Christmas Day and we all went out to the Kia Restaurant in
downtown Southend for Christmas Lunch. Here's J and Grandad playing with Lulu. Click on picture

Now then, my annual Christmas treat. On Boxing Day I went out with John and Dave to the
football down at Roots Hall. John and Dave do the radio commentary for the Thameside Hospital
Radio, and John always gets me in for free into the commentary box. Here's John doing his thing.

Unfortunately the game was a bit of a disappointment and Southend could only muster a 0-0 draw with the MK
Dons that afternoon. Southend did really well at the opening of the season but seem to be passing through
a bit of a mire at present. Click on picture to enlarge.
