Christmas is over...if you want it. We had a great Christmas this (rather, last) year,
and to prove it, here are some obligitory pics of family members opening Xmas gifts on
Christmas morning. We stayed at Looby's Mum and Dads in Essex, and were joined by Grandma,
Laura and new fiancee Warren

One of the coolest presents this year was Warren's remote control helicopter...

Yes, I would have quite liked one of those. But then I would have liked a remote control Dalek,
and I didn't get one of those either. sigh.

Among J's faves was his Postman Pat van. Pat and Cat go in van. Pat and Cat out of van.
Pat and Cat in van. And so on...

This is us, our fam, at Xmas 2005, at Jackie and John's house.

Here's a classic picture of J. With all the presents he received this Christmas, he still
enjoyed playing with an old teddy that had been his Mum's before him more.

David and Marcia came round on Christmas Day and we all went out to the Kia Restaurant in
downtown Southend for Christmas Lunch. Here's J and Grandad playing with Lulu.

And here we all are at the Kia restaurant.

Now then, my annual Christmas treat. On Boxing Day I went out with John and Dave to the
football down at Roots Hall. John and Dave do the radio commentary for the Thameside Hospital
Radio, and John always gets me in for free into the commentary box. Here's John doing his thing.

Unfortunately the game was a bit of a disappointment and Southend could only muster a 0-0 draw with the MK
Dons that afternoon. Southend did really well at the opening of the season but seem to be passing through
a bit of a mire at present.

Here's a pic of Looby and J which was taken over Xmas.

All the excitement of Xmas 2005 was too much for our little boy.
