Me and Tom went over to San Francisco for the last week of January, to do a little work over there. Click on picture to enlarge.

These are pictures of us, of course, at the Golden Gate Bridge. Click on picture to enlarge.

The Golden Gate Bridge seperates San Francisco from Marin County. Click on picture to enlarge. Also, to view a 16-second
movie of us walking across the bridge, click here.

This was a nice day. We walked over the bridge in sunshine, and walked back during a
California sunset. Click on picture to enlarge.

SF is no place to be if you dont like hills. You could almost hear Ford Mustangs hopping over the
steps of the hills to the music of the "Bullitt" theme...Click on picture

Hanging out of a streetcar, zipping down a hill...Click on picture to enlarge.

We rode the streetcars quite a bit. It was the tourist thing to do. Everyone who lived there got the bus,
because its cheaper. Click on picture to enlarge.

And more hills...whoa!!! Click on picture to enlarge.

This is Lombard Street, which is pretty famous and has been in a lot of movies, especially Herbie movies.
The cars spiral down it at 5mph, swirling in and out of the gardens. Click on picture to enlarge.

 |
 |
|
And speaking of Herbie, guess who I found!! He has lacking his stripes and number 56...but I think it was
definitely him...Click on picture to enlarge.

I also went down to have a look around SBC Park...this is the home ballpark of the San Francisco Giants
baseball team. Click on picture to enlarge.

As you all know I love baseball, so this was a real treat for me. Unfortunately it wasn't baseball season,
so I couldn't take in a game while I was there, which was a real shame. Click on picture to enlarge.

And just as a last point, me and Tom flew for 12 hours to get to California, and all we could find to drink
was Newky Brown, from just down the road. Go figure. Click on picture to enlarge.
