Summer hols. This year: Blackpool.

I went on this tower ride thing which spits you 200ft into the air. Nearly soiled my damn pants. Note the UFO caught
in this picture(!). Yeah right.

This is the Derby Racer ride. Went quite fast actually. I was hung on for dear life.

I went on with Ry for this one. It was another tower one, in a building shaped like the
Krusty Krab.

Lu went on this rollercoaster with J. Look carefully and you can see Lu.

The Nickleodeon rollercoaster. J also went on another rollercoaster with me which was even bigger, but we didn't get a picture
of that. The Pleasure Beach is actually quite forgiving about things like ride height sizes and health and safety, which on one
hand was quite refreshing. But on the other, in the same week we were at Blackpool here, a young lad fell out of a ride at the Camelot theme park
and a woman lost a leg on a log flume at Bridlington.

OK enough Pleasure Beach. On another day out we visited Chester Zoo.

Herewith follows stock images of kids and animals.

More animals. My favourite was the bat cave because I have a deep love of bats. Couldn't do
flash photography in there though so didn't get any pictures. Chester Zoo is alright but its a good job Lu printed out some money-saving
vouchers for it beforehand because its not cheap. And it's only a zoo, it's no Longleat or Dan-Yr-Ogof.

Chester Zoo's big draw this year was a few plastic anamatronic dinosaurs in a car park or something.
To make you feel a bit better about parting with your £70, or whatever.

We stayed at the Haven park at Blackpool. Blackpool is alright actually, a bit tacky, but a good
place to go for a week. The Pleasure Beach was awesome and worth the entrance fee. Chester Zoo was a place with animals in. We had a great
time overall.
